Welcome to the Thai Riviera on the Gulf of Siam
Scuba Diving the Thai Riviera and the Gulf of Siam
For most dive operators on the Gulf of Siam, the surroundings of Tao Island are their main daytrip destinations, however, some are too far away from these destinations and will visit other places of closer to the starting point. There are no dive operators north of Prachuab Kiri Khan, as there are no interesting dive sites, which can be visited within day excursions.
On all other beaches along the Gulf of Thailand, you will find reputable dive operators. All operators will offer daytrips and liveaboard dive safaris to interesting destinations as well as PADI Dive Courses from beginner level all the way through to Instructor Development Courses. When the conditions are right, dependent on such factors as weather, tides, thermoclines and the dive operators themselves, the diving in the Gulf of Siam can be truly spectacular so be prepared for some fantastic diving.
