Welcome to the Thai Riviera on the Gulf of Siam
Speed Boat Excursions along the Gulf of SiamHigh-speed boats are now available throughout the Gulf of Siam and offer access to even the remotest beaches and islands during a short period of time. Organized excursions or private rentals can be arranged at most resorts, along beaches and in fishing villages. As these boats need up to 90 litres of petrol per hour the rental prices are charged accordingly. Popular activities include snorkelling and fishing.
A full-day speed-boat trip can bring you from Hua Hin to Pranburi, from Chumporn to Ko Tao or from Khanom to Koh Samui, after arrival at the destination there will be time for snorkelling and/or exploration of the islands. Most smaller islands along the Thai Riviera have limited or no development at all. Many of them are uninhabited, some are bare rocky outcrops with small huts as a temporary shelter for the bird's nest collectors.
