Coral Hotel Bang Saphan Yai is a small paradise for those looking for a calm and natural getaway from the tourist crowds. Bangsaphan, near the Burmese border, is located 380 km south of Bangkok and is easy to reach by bus by car or by train, even by plane through the new airport of Chumpon. The city of Bang Sapan is growing, all modern facilities can be found a few miles away from the hotel : banks, a modern hospital, many shops. Coral Hotel Bang Sapan melts into its surroundings and is set amongst coconut trees near to an endless beach. The hotel, with its friendly atmosphere and small size can welcome 120 persons at the most. A choice of accommodation is available: Deluxe suites, family cottages or standard and superior rooms. The 2 restaurants offer a varied menu of Thai and occidental cuisine. Coral Resort Bangsaphan will organize your numerous sporting activities as well as excursions and sightseeing tours. Internet fans will have the possibility to be connected to the World Wide Web through our internet cafe in the lobby near the reception desk. And a souvenir shop will welcome you with a wide choice of traditional and local handcrafts, souvenirs, and postcards.

At Bang Saphan Coral Resort, the cottages are decorated in wooden Thai Style and are composed of 2 family suites. Each suite consists of a large bed room for 2 persons connected to a small room suitable for 2 children. Each cottage offers modern facilities: air conditioning, minibar, satellite TV with English, French and Thai channels and telephone. The bathrooms are with bathtub and cold/hot water and a separate toilet.

The eight standard double rooms with large bed or twin beds and the 3 superior rooms with mezzanine and large balcony at Coral Bay Bang Saphan are located in a small building from local architecture. Superior rooms are particularly comfortable for a family of five as they can accommodate up to 3 persons in the air-conditioned mezzanine.

The Deluxe suite at Hotel Coral Bang Saphan is even larger than the family cottage. The main room offers a king size bed and is widely open to nature through its windows. The smaller room can accommodate 2 persons or can be used as a sitting room and features a second TV set. The 2 rooms can be accessed separately through the terrace, as well as the bathroom is accessible independently from each room. The bathroom of the deluxe suite offers bathtub and shower, 2 sinks with hot and cold water, and a separate toilet. We recommend the deluxe suite for a couple who like comfort and space combined with refined local decoration, or even for families with 1 or 2 teenagers.

Coral Hotel Bangsaphan has 3 restaurants, which are decorated in the same refined way as the rest of the hotel. This way, you will appreciate the local dishes, in particular the shell fish and fish specialties - shrimps, gamba, lobsters, squid, crab... and some good European receipts. To vary the menu, we also offer French cuisine. One restaurant, with its panoramic view over the sea, offers the freshness with air-conditioning, while the terraced restaurant is dominated by the breeze of the surrounding coconut trees. On the second floor and overlooking the beach, a traditional Thai restaurant is decoratedin old style and the atmosphere will remind you of the time when Thailand was called Siam. Our new bar, next to the beach and by the swimmingpool will welcome you during the day for a drink or a snack : shrimps, fish and crab or even fresh and exotic vegetable salads and grilled meat on the barbecue.

You will enjoy your free time as everything here is at your disposal to help you either rest or relax : long wild beach with rest chairs and umbrellas, a 50 m long swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and fitness center, volley-ball, petanque, badminton, canoe and bikes, please inquire at our reception. You can also enjoy a real Thai massage on the beach or by the pool and if you like to get up early, we will take you fishing on a small local boat, taking care of your lunch. If you wish to take your holiday to learn to dive, whether experienced or new diver a licensed PADI teacher will take you in the best conditions and help you discover our warm and clear water. Best suitable time is from end of March to end of September. If you prefer snorkelling or water skiing, we have the equipment and the boat for a short trip to the island of Koh Thalu.
