Detailed Maps on Baan Krut, Bang Burt and
Bang Saphan Beaches
Baan Kruut and Bangsaphan
are more than 400 kilometres south of Thailand's capital Bangkok and
are best reached by overnight train from there. Their beaches are still
a little secret and seldom visited by foreign tourists.
Baan Krud Beach is one of the most beautiful
beaches in Prachuabkirikhan Province. It is a white sandy beach with
clean water, where you can spend some time with your friends and family.
Thong Chai Village is located between
Sai Kaew Beach and Ban Krut Beach. From here, you are looking out to
the crescent-shaped seashore of Baan Krut Beach. Thong Chai mountain
is home to the three holy spots and regarded by the locals as a symbol
of Prachuab Khirikhan Province.
Koh Talu Island is the largest island
of the region. The island was named Koh Talu because of a large hole
at the promontory. You can stroll along the beach or go scuba diving
on the reef in front of the beach.
